Our Extreme Tanning Oil is made with Organic Oils that will nourish, protect & moisturize the skin at the same time promote a dark, rich tan, naturally without the UVA & UVB rays.

NO:

· Mineral Oil - (Petroleum by-product; known carcinogen, comedogenic (will clog pores)
· Oxybenzone & Octinoxate (very common ingredients used in sunscreen today that has estrogenic chemicals linked to cancer)
· Sodium Hydroxmethy Glycinate – (preservative that contains formaldehyde)
· Silicones – (having carcinogenic and mutagenic effects on the skin and mucous membranes; plastic used to seal in the oils to the skin)
· Amyl Acetate – (a high powered cleaning agent)
· Emulsifiers – (soap-based chemical substance used in products to bind oil & water; leaves chemical residue that soaks into the pores and ultimately the blood stream)
· Parabens – (methyl, or propyl; an estrogen disrupting chemical used to preserve products)
· PABA – (A once-common sunscreen ingredient, now avoided due to allergic dermatitis and photosensitivity. Research indicates PABA has carcinogenic potential)

According the Environmental Working Group (EWG) the ingredients above “absorb into the blood and have toxic effects on the body, releasing skin-damaging free radicals in sunlight, some act like estrogen and disrupt hormones and several can cause allergic reactions and skin irritation”.

**Always take care when exposing yourself to the Sun burning rays. Gradual increase in exposure is always best, especially for fair skinned people who are prone to getting burned easily. Also, morning exposure has less UVA/UVB rays and is more beneficial than at the hottest times of the day (between 10a.m.- 2p.m.). Try to keep track of the time when exposing yourself to the Sun’s rays and wear a covering on the exposed areas if you feel you’re getting too much sun. Preventative practices are always best when trying to achieve a lasting golden tan.**
